NEW ORLEANS – Tulane football hosts Cincinnati for Homecoming 2017 Saturday afternoon at Yulman Stadium. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. on ESPN3.

WAVE ’17
Wave ’17 – Tulane’s Homecoming, reunion and family weekend – takes place Nov. 2-5 on the uptown campus, centered around the football game Saturdayafternoon. Beginning Thursday, there are a number of alumni reunions and family events along with a number of home athletics events – women’s and men’s basketball doubleheader on Thursday, volleyball on Friday and volleyball and women’s basketball on Sunday. The Homecoming court will be presented on the field at halftime of the football game.

• Tulane seeks its first homecoming win at Yulman Stadium, having lost to Memphis in 2014 (38-7 on Nov. 15), UConn in 2015 (7-3 on Nov. 5) and SMU in 2016 (35-31 on Oct. 29).
• A win over Cincinnati would give the Green Wave a win on homecoming for the first time since a 24-21 victory over North Texas on Oct. 5, 2013.
• Of Tulane’s 32 touchdowns scored so far this season, 15 have been with plays that went 20 yards or longer. The Green Wave’s six longest plays have resulted in touchdowns – three rushing (75, 72, 58) and three passing (73, 62, 62). In total, Tulane has converted 46 plays on offense and special teams of 20 yards or longer.
• Tulane enters the game ranked fourth in The American and 15th nationally in rushing offense at 248.0 yards per game.
• Tulane has rushed for 100 or more yards in 23 straight games, dating back to the final three games of the 2015 season.

• The Bearcats have dropped five straight games with the losses coming to teams that have a combined 2017 record of 29-5.
• Cincinnati has dropped five straight games overall and eight consecutive American Athletic Conference games, dating to last year.

SERIES NOTES
• Tulane and Cincinnati are meeting for the 16th time on the gridiron with the Green Wave leading the all-time series 11-4.
• The two teams last met in New Orleans on Oct. 31, 2014 during Tulane’s inaugural season playing in Yulman Stadium and inaugural season in the American Athletic Conference. Cincinnati won that game 38-14.
• Tulane’s last home win over the Bearcats was a 35-17 victory in a Conference USA matchup on Oct. 2, 2002. That season, the Green Wave went 8-5, capping the season with a 36-28 win over Hawai’i in the Hawai’i Bowl.
• Seven of Tulane’s wins in the series have come in New Orleans.
