A day after LSU got its first 2026 commitment in Edna Karr High School four star defensive tackle Richard Anderson, the Tigers got another defensive lineman commit this time for the 2025 class as Tampa, Florida native and four star defensive end LaJesse Harrold announced his commitment to LSU.
According to On3 and 247, the Robinson High School defensive end is a Top 10 edge rusher in the nation and a Top 75 player overall. The 6’5, 220 pound pass rusher is a Top 20 player in the state of Florida and chose the Tigers over other offers that include Georgia, Florida, Texas A&M, and Auburn.
With this commitment, it marks the 13th overall pledge to LSU’s 2025 class, but the first defensive lineman. Leading this commitment is edge rusher coach Kevin Peoples. Harrold joins four star cornerback Jaboree Antoine, four star linebacker Charles Ross, and four star linebacker Keylan Moses as the only defensive commits from the class.
