Neville High School Four Star Offensive Tackle Zalance Heard Commits To The LSU Tigers

It looks like another highly recruited offensive tackle from Neville High School has committed to play for the LSU Tigers, and his name is Zalance Heard. At 6’5, 300 pounds, Heard is the number one offensive tackle in the state and the number four player overall in the state. He is now set to join his former teammate Will Campbell, who is the current starting offensive tackle for the Tigers.

“It feels great. It’s been a long time coming.”

The number one offensive lineman in Louisiana chose the Tigers over the likes of Florida, Florida State, Nebraska, and Houston.

For the LSU Tigers, they continue their hot streak in recruiting as they are approaching a top five recruiting class in 2023. Right now, the Tigers have four of the top ten players in the state of Louisiana.

This is also the ninth player that is committed from the state of Louisiana and the 22nd commit in the current class.

Heard is also the third offensive lineman to be committed in this year’s class. Helping Coach Kelly get this massive grab was the heavy involvement of coaches Brad Davis and Jon Randall Belton.
