Nation’s #1 2026 Wide Receiver Tristen Keys Commits To LSU

The LSU Tigers got an early track on being the top recruiting class for 2026 with the verbal commitment of five star and the number one wide receiver in the class in Hattiesburg High School wide receiver Tristen Keys.

At 6’3, 185 pounds, Keys has the ability to beat you all in all areas of the field. The five star receiver resides in Hattiesburg, Mississppi where he is ranked as the number three overall prospect according to On3 and is also the top ranked receiver in this cycle. If LSU holds on to Keys, he would be the Tigers’ highest ranked receiver signee since Kayshon Boutte.

Keys chose to commit to the Tigers after visiting LSU earlier this week. He chose to play in Baton Rouge over other SEC schools including Tennessee, Texas A&M, Alabama, and Auburn.

He is now the highest ranked commit in the class for the Tigers and the first to sign from outside of Louisiana joining Edna Karr DT Richard Anderson, East Ascension OL Brysten Martinez, Edna Karr S Aiden Hall, Airline WR Kenny Darby, McDonogh 35 WR Jakai Anderson, and Warren Easton OL Jalan Chapman.

Entering his senior season, Keys is following a great junior campaign in which he led the team to the 6A State Championship Game with 1,275 receiving yards and 14 TDs on 58 receptions.
