McNeese Looks to Rebound in 2015

McNeese State is a very talented team that last season came within 14 seconds of beating Nebraska in their opener. Again this year they play on the main stage their opening weekend. This season they take on the states home team, the LSU Tigers.
On Thursday I visited McNeese State and saw the Cowboys have a great deal of competition and depth. This year the Cowboys bring back 17 starters (9 Offence, 7 Defense, 1 Specialist). This is a very talented team with a lot of experience and leadership.
I am looking forward to Sept 5th when the Cowboys go to Death Valley and take on the Tigers. The Cowboys are an underdog against LSU, but I would not count them out. I am sure that the Corn Huskers counted them out last year as well. This year the Cowboys have a lot to prove after barely missing the playoffs last season.
