LSU’s First Practice in Full Pads for the 2018-19 Season

It was a great day for football practice as the Tigers took the field on a cloudless breezy 69 degree afternoon. The Tigers came out fired up to practice hard and practice hard they did. Both Myles Brennan and Lowell Narcisse looked sharp with their early throwing around of the ball. Lots of zip on the ball from both the young quarterbacks. Coach O stated that the quarterbacks “are all even right now.” A big get for LSU coming in the form of a transfer, from Texas Tech, last season was DE Breiden Fehoko. After sitting out the past season, Fehoko is now able to join LSU on the playing field and not watch from the sidelines. Coach O heaped praise on Fehoko saying “he can play a 4-technique, 6-technique sometime. His pass rush is tremendous, leadership. Now is his time! He’s stepping up. Tremendous year.” Coach Orgeron later went on to talk about the bond that transfer wide receiver Jonathan Giles and Fehoko had formed over the year of not playing. “They pushed each other, right now both are starters for us.” Look forward to both Giles and Fehoko being immediate impacts for the Tigers on Saturdays in Death Valley this coming season.
