GF All-American Bowl Commit: Payne Hagan

Payne Hagan is a 6’1, 240 pound offensive lineman from Oak Grove High School in Oak Grove, Louisiana. Playing for one of the best smaller school programs in Louisiana, Payne has played a lot of football under head coach Ryan Gregory on both sides of the football starting for two of Oak Grove’s state championship teams. Over his prep career, he has made All-District and was an All-State Honorable Mention. Although Payne may be undersized, he makes up for it with his explosiveness off the snap as an offensive lineman, his technique, and his 4.8/40 speed. In the weight room, the veteran lineman bench presses 285 pounds, squats 500 pounds, and power cleans 315 pounds. Right now, he has received two offers from Hendrix College and Louisiana Christian. Payne has not only been a great player for the Tigers, but he has also proven to be a great representative for the school posting a 3.8 GPA and a 25 on his ACT. Payne has earned the right to play in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game and is excited to show his talents in front of college coaches.

“My initial reaction to the invite was me being very surprised, but also very excited. It means a lot to me to be able to participate in a game with some of the best in the country and I’m extremely thankful for the opportunity.”
