East Feliciana Four Star Tight End & Two Sport Star Trey’Dez Green Commits To LSU

A couple of days after landing a four-star safety, LSU got themselves another pickup that will not only positively affect the football program, but also the basketball program as towering 6’7, 230 pound East Feliciana two sport star Trey’Dez Green has committed to play for the Tigers. The announcement was made public earlier today just recently after he narrowed his top five to LSU, Miami, Tennessee, Alabama, and Texas A&M.

“They way they use their tight ends and flex them out. Also, the way they use their forwards and have them handle the ball, shoot, and do everything guards do.”

“It means a lot, especially me being from here. I just want to put on for the people I love.”

East Feliciana TE Trey’Dez Green on LSU Commitment

Green is one of Louisiana’s best overall athletes as he is rated as the number two overall prospect on the gridiron and the number one power forward on the basketball court. He will play both sports at LSU.

The two sport star has been terrorizing defensive backs since I called his first varsity football game on Varsity Sports Now. In his varsity debut, he caught four passes including three of them that went for touchdowns. Ever since, Green has skyrocketed his status as one of the country’s most sought out tight ends and is coming off a sensational junior season which he had 42 catches for 864 yards and 14 touchdowns. Green has been nearly unguardable at the high school level with his length and athleticism in getting jump balls. Clearly, his skills on the basketball court have helped transition him to being a standout on the gridiron.

Trey’Dez Green is the second notable player to commit to LSU from East Feliciana with the last one being Kendell Beckwith, who went on to have a good career at linebacker playing for the Tigers and also in the NFL for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

This commitment is the first at the tight end position for the Tigers in 2024 and the 14th overall. After showing Green around campus a lot over the summer, this is a huge win for two of LSU’s athletic teams.
