The New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees shared a message with fans after undergoing a successful procedure to repair an injury to his throwing hand. Brees attempted a thumbs-up in updating everyone on his status and the start of the recovery process, but was hindered by the heavy cast over his hand and wrist.
The actual recovery time is still unknown but it looks like Brees will not be placed on IR. In the interim Coach Payton will share the helm between Bridgewater and Hill.
