Zyion Alexander is a 14 year old 8th grader who is in the class of 2028. He is listed at 5’10 150lbs with a 3.0 gpa. Zyion plays both offense and defensive sides of the ball. He recently participated in the 2023 Gridiron All-American Bowl game for Junior High. During the game Zyion came up with an interception from one of the west Qbs who tried to throw his way. During his time on offense he made an even bigger play catching a pass and going 80 yards to the house on the west. He put his skill on display during the game and showed why he plays both sides of the ball.
What or who got you to start playing football?
” Playing backyard football with my siblings and growing up watching my older siblings play made me want to play.”
How long have you been playing football?
” I have been playing since I was 8 years olds.”
What positions do you play?
” I play running back and free safety. “
What NFL player do you like watching?
” I like to watch CeeDee lamb and Isiah Pacheco.”
What is the most challenging aspect of football of football to you?
” I find signaling and play calling to be a challenge to football.”
What is a strength that you have in your game?
” My strength is get to the outside finding a hole and getting pass defenders.”
What is something you’re working on to improve your game?
” I am working on improving my footwork, technique, and speed.”
What are your current football goals?
” My current goal in football win a state championship or two go to a D1 college. I want to be a legend at my school and further my career to the NFL and be a Hall of Famer. “
What’s your dream schools?
” My dream school is LSU.”
What’s your favorite activity outside of football?
” Outside of football I like to workout, play my game, and spend time with dog missy.”

“Football has taught me leadership, brotherhood, discipline, and teamwork.”
