Juelz Baptiste, a student athlete at St. Augustine High School and part of the class of 2025, stands tall at 6 feet 5 inches and weighs 285lbs. “Something’s I’ve came in life is the passing of my great grandmother because she was a great influence in my life.”
What are your biggest accomplishments?
“My biggest accomplishment as of right now is earning my offers and just how far I come as a player.”
What player do you compare yourself to and why?
” A player I can compare myself to is Cam Robinson for the Jacksonville Jaguars. I say this because we both are big athletic tackles.”
What are your plans once you’re done with football and why?
“My plans after I’m done playing football is to become a coach and to hold youth camps to give my knowledge to the younger guys who play football.”
What are some goals you have for yourself, and your team next season?
“Some goals I have for me and my team for next season is to make it pass the second round of playoffs win those game and then go on and win the state championship.”
What do you like about the sport of football and how is it significant to you?
“ The thing I love about football is how it teaches many different things and it gives you new friendships that become long term.”
What is an interesting fact about you outside of football?
“One fact about me is outside of football is I’m a huge game guy and my favorite game is Call of Duty.”
What position do you enjoy playing the most and why?
“The position I like playing the most is offensive tackle because, I can show off my athleticism as a big guy.”
What are some ways your coaches have helped you?
“Some ways coaches have helped me is by motivating me through tuff times and just be being able to communicate with about them questions on and off the field.”
What colleges have you received any offers or interest from if any and what is your dream college to play for?
“I currently hold offers from Alabama state, Troy, UCF, Mizzou, Arkansas state, Tulane, Houston ULL, ULM, and Lamar. My dream college to play for is Oregon. ”
What makes you stand out from other players?
“The thing that makes me different from other tackles in my class is my ability to run and be a impactful factor for outside zone plays.”
