DITR: NG/DT Jordyn Grant, The Woodlands College Park High School (The Woodlands, TX)

Meet multi-sport athlete Jordyn Grant out of The Woodlands College Park High School (The Woodlands, TX). Jordyn participates in both track and field and football and excels at each, whether it’s a discus, shot put, or even dunking a basketball, Jordyn is your guy. His strength and athleticism on the field are a key factor in both him and his team’s success. This class of ‘28 nose guard, and defensive tackle stands at 6’1 300lbs, with four D1 offers so far from Sacramento State, UTSA, RICE, and TSU. Jordyn currently maxes out at 405lbs for bench press, and 515lbs for squat.

What got you into football?

“I started playing when i was younger and I really just grew attached to it, and it’s my purpose I feel like.”

What team do you root for?

“Ohio State”

What are your biggest goals moving forward?

“I want to be an All State Defensive Lineman, I want to be ranked and stuff and I want my name to be recognized.”

Where do you see yourself after high school?

“At either Clemson University or Baylor.”

Do you play any other sports?

“I do wrestling, play basketball out of school, and I do shot put and discuss.”

What do you think is the best aspect of your game?

“I’m the strongest on the team, and I haven’t missed a tackle in my career.”

Do you have a player you look up to?

“Rema Nwosu and Ed Oliver”

What do you do outside of school?

“I like to go fishing, and I am actually a dog whisperer.”
