Nate Johnson is a 5’11” 180 lbs safety who plays for Ruston High School in Ruston, Louisiana. Nate recently picked up his first scholarship offer from Mississippi Valley State University. He runs a 4.58 40 yard dash, which pops up on film. He has a high football IQ, which helps him make big plays for the Bearcats. When do you start playing football?
I started in kindergarten playing flag and then transitioned to pads in 3rd grade

The brotherhood. It takes everyone to win

I used to run track and play basketball but now I just focus on football

It’s hard but the most important thing is managing my time wisely

Lots and lots of film and scout team along with going over the game plan with my coaches and teammates
