DITR: Michael Bradley Jr. WR/DB Delhi, LA

Screenshot

Michael Bradley Jr. is a 6′ 145 lb, 2-way athlete out of Delhi, LA. His versatility and the ability to impact the game in a variety of ways make him stand out. On offense, he’s a big play waiting to happen when he has the ball in his hands. These ball skills translate on the defensive end as well. He had 4 interceptions, one returned for a touchdown, and 11 PBUs last season. Let’s keep in mind this is in a shortened middle school season. He stands at an impressive 6 ft already, and he still hasn’t finished 8th grade. Expect his frame to continue to fill out and his skills to continue to improve as he enters high school, with 4 more years to develop before he is ready for college football. This is one I would start buying stock in early, because it’s only a matter of time before others take notice.

Q/A:

What has football taught you that you think will help you most in college life?

Football has taught me to be humble at all times and also to ground myself.

How do you think you will feel when you put your high school jersey on for the first time?

It’s a blessing and a great feeling, and knowing that I accomplished my first goal

What are you most excited about for high school, and what are you nervous about?

I’m most excited to meet new people and learn from new people. Just hearing their ideas and getting their input and overall perspective on life. I’m nervous that I may not fit in because I am a little country. I like to do my own thing, but I hope football will be a common bond in many friendships.

Who pushed you the most to become the player (and person) you are today?

My mother pushed me on and off the field.

What’s one lesson a younger teammate could learn from your journey?

Keep your head up, don’t be hard on yourself, and be patient; your time will come to shine.

How do you stay motivated when practices or games get tough?

I just think about all the hard work I have done to get where I’m at now, which motivates me.

What kind of legacy do you hope you’re leaving behind on your team?

The legacy I hope I’m leaving behind is that they saw a kid who was an underdog and that anything is possible; just believe you will win.

Outside of football, what are you hoping to discover or try in college?

Outside of football, I’m hoping to discover anything that will help me better myself as coming the best man I can be in life

Five years from now, where do you hope football and your education will have taken you?

I hope five years from now, football and my education have taken me to the level where I can help my family and others.

What’s your go-to pregame song?

YoungBoy MASA.

What do you think makes you stand out from other recruits?

One of my strengths is my height and the heart I bring to the game.

What made you fall in love with football?

My favorite part of football is the love and support you get from your teammates, whether you’re doing well or having a tough game.
