You play basketball as well. What’s your position in basketball and how do you feel like it helps you on the football field?

I play small forward and power forward. It helps me in football as it helps with my athleticism and speed on the field. It keeps me in shape.

What’s your favorite thing about your position?

My favorite thing about my position is that you have to be fast off the edge. You have to know how to use the right techniques to get to the quarterback. Once you hit the quarterback, it’s a good feeling knowing your hard work paid off.

How do you think coaches and teammates would describe you?

They would describe me a hardworking player and leader in my position.

What has football taught you about yourself or life?

Football has taught me leadership and accountability. If you mess up on a play, you have to take ownership of what you did wrong and how you messed up.

Since you came from New York, what would you say is your favorite thing about playing football in Louisiana? What’s different?

My favorite thing out here is the competition. It is just different. I came from New York, but I was playing in Louisiana first. When I came back, it was just a different feeling. I had a good feeling on coming back.

What would you say are some of your strengths?

My speed and athleticism are some of my strengths. I am faster than most linemen. By me using my speed, I am able to get to the quarterback faster.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

If not in the league, I see myself with my degree and a good job. My number one goal is to make it to the NFL, though!

How do you prepare for an upcoming game?

I watch a lot of film and see what the opponent does the most. I’ll know how to attack them and how they would attack me. I make it easier on myself.

If you could vacation anywhere in the world right now, where would you pick?

I would pick somewhere like Hawaii where I can just relax.
