Who are some of your biggest influences?

My dad was my biggest influence in my life and still is today. He passed away and year and a half ago. The reason he is my biggest influence is because he was always my biggest supporter and drove me to various camps, colleges, and combines to put me in a situation where I could be successful. He was my best friend and someone who I could go to about anything. I play for him and am so grateful for all that he taught me.

What made you decide to play linebacker?

I had played a H-Back, Tight End for most of my life, but our first game my sophomore year we had two linebackers go down with injury. My coaches asked me to go in and I have learned on the fly. I fell in love with defense and being able to be the “quarterback” of the defense. Switching to Linebacker was a blessing in disguise and I am so grateful that my coaches gave me the opportunity.

What is your greatest strength on the football field?

I am a hard hitter and am not afraid to run in and make a hit.

I need to get better at getting back into pass coverage quicker and being able to survey the field as well as read the quarterbacks eyes.

What are your goals for your senior year?

My goals are to go 10-0 in the regular season and go to State. We have a great, close group of guys and coaches and I believe that if we focus in and not get distracted, we can achieve anything we want. I also want to make 1st team all-state and be the defensive MVP for District 1-5A
