Cole Tracy Continues Dominant Performance at LSU

LSU kicker Cole Tracy has been a breath of fresh air for both the team and the fans. After suffering through multiple seasons of inconsistency at the kicker position, Tracy has proven time and again that he has what it takes to be in the conversation about being the best kicker in the nation.

Cole Tracy had a career long 54 yarder against Miami which also tied a long standing LSU record. He currently sits at 22 of 25 field goals made through ten games. Having his best game against previously ranked #2 Georgia going 5 for 5 on his field goals attempts, tying a school record, and 18 points overall.

Tracy has been named the Southeastern Conference Special Teams Player of the Week four times this season, he is the first player in LSU history to kick nine field goals over a two-game span.  He is currently six field goals away from tying the single season mark held by Josh Jasper.

He was awarded the Lou Groza Star of the Week three times this season, in games against Miami, Auburn, and Georgia.

He has been a great asset for the Tigers and should be a top prospect for the Lou Groza Award.
