Tioga High School (Ball, LA) defensive back Ja’Corian Norris has committed to play in the 2023 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, which will be played at Memorial Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Saturday, December 30th. Norris is one of the biggest hidden gems in the state of Louisiana that nobody is really talking about. At 6’2, 185 pounds with 4.6/40 speed, Norris was one of the best two way players in Cenla in 2023.
This past season, the talented and athletic Tioga defensive back had an incredible year for the Indians with 91 tackles, seven interceptions including five that were returned for touchdowns, two forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, five kickoff return touchdowns, and one punt return for touchdown. Norris has incredible ball skills as he scored 11 touchdowns in three different ways. Not only does Norris have the ability to read quarterbacks and play the ball in the air, but he is always a threat to score every time he has the ball in his hands with his smooth running style in the open field.
With also a 3.4 GPA, the All-Parish performer has received college interest from ULL, Wayne State, ULM, Southern Arkansas, Graceland University, and Louisiana Christian, but this true diamond in the rough has the opportunity to open up plenty of more eyes next Saturday in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game.
“It means a lot to get the opportunity to show off my skills and show them what I’m about.”Tioga High School DB Ja’Corian Norris
