The North Iberville Bears finished their first varsity season since 2008 and came on the scene in a big way by winning nine games including their first playoff win since the late 1980’s. A senior that has been part of the Bears’ building blocks for the resurgence of their football program has committed to play in the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game and that is WR Corey Domino Jr.
As an All-District selection for head coach Josh Gast, Domino not only provided senior leadership, but was a playmaker on both sides of the football. As a wide receiver, Domino finished his senior campaign with 25 catches for 436 yards and five touchdowns. On the other side of the football, he finished with 40 tackles, 2 TFLs, 12 PBUs, 3 INTs, and a pick six as a defensive back.

At 5’11, 165 pounds, Domino is a savvy player that uses his quickness and high football IQ to his advantage especially since he plays on both sides of the football. Whether it has been at our Gridiron Football Elite Camps or at our 7v7 tournaments, Domino has been a mainstay for Gridiron Football and will have one more high school game representing the green and gold at the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, which will be played on Monday, December 30th at Memorial Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
