Amite High School (La.) running back Christian Smith has committed to play in the fifth annual Gridiron Football All-American Bowl!
Smith doubled as the district’s defensive most valuable player and a first-team All-District running back. He was also a member of Amite’s 2021 2A state championship team.
“Playing in this All-Star game gives me a chance to showcase my abilities to college coaches around the world and gives me another chance to play one more high school game.”
Smith has gained interest from Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Maryland and Southeast Missouri State.
Smith is the younger brother of Devonta Smith, the 2020 Heisman Trophy winner and current Phildelphia Eagles starting wide receiver.
“What I’ve learned from my brother is that it doesn’t matter how tall or how small you are, anything is possible.”
After my playing days I hope to own a sporting goods company affordable for small-town communities.
