This year at LGF, we will be taking a look at the senior class of some Louisiana high schools and taking a look at their potential to play at the next level. Categories for each position are measured on a 1-10 scale, with 10 being well above average and 1 being well below average. We continue with the senior class of the Iota Bulldogs.
Brett Clay WR 6-0 165lbs
Decent hands. Speed is an issue. Good blocker. Uses his size to attack the ball in the air. Future Outlook: D3 WR
Kaleb Guillory RB 5-7 185lbs
Good hands. Catches the ball out of the backfield well. Speed is OK. Hits the hole well but does run upright. Pass blocking is very good. Also plays tight end. Future Outlook: D3 RB/TE
Chaynery Johnson WR 5-7 160lbs
Very good hands, catches the ball away from his body. Attacks the ball at its highest point. Competes every play. Good at running after the catch and making defenders miss tackles. Route running needs work. Kick returner is a plus. Future Outlook: D2 WR
Hunter Andrus LB
Strong, physical player. Takes on OL head on when they are trying to block him. Read and react linebacker. Will need to learn how to maneuver/shed blockers that he cant overpower. Good speed. Future Outlook: D2 LB
Levi Manuel LB 5-11 195lbs
Read and react linebacker. Good at avoiding blocks but needs to work on getting off blocks when they get to him. Sure tackler and plays well in coverage. Uses speed to his advantage. Future Outlook: FBS/D2 LB
Garret Broussard OL 5-9 185lbs
Strong, Athletic lineman. They like to run behind him but also to let him release and lead block on screen plays. Likes to attack and sometimes does not get a good set when pass blocking. Leans forward and doesn’t use hands as well as you would like. Future Outlook: D3 OL
