Rising Star, QB/DB, Sincere McMorris, Palestine Jr. High (Palestine, TX)

Let’s welcome the latest Rising Star, from the class of 2030, Sincere McMorris! Sincere was seen showing off his skills at the Gridiron Elite Camp in Westwood, Texas. This Rising Star not only excelled in athletics, but also in academics, receiving A’s and B’s in his schoolwork. When it comes to awards, Sincere has received academic awards in math and reading. Athletically, he was awarded the Gridiron Top Camp Performer award in 2025, while previously having earned a spot in the Gridiron Jr. All-American Bowl in 2025. He is currently 5’5 and weighs 138 lbs, with the ability to bench upwards of 185 lbs and squat 225 lbs. At the camp, he was recorded running a 4.91 shuttle and a 5.56 40 yd dash. To stay well-rounded, Sincere also competes in AAU Basketball and participates in quest training. These accomplishments have made Sincere the next Rising Star featured by Gridiron.

What did you look forward to most at the camp?

“Getting better.”

What was your favorite drill from the camp?

“The 5-10-5.”

What did you like about the camp?

“That I got the chance to meet new people while getting better.”

What skills do you think you performed best?

“My QB and RB skills.”

Do you think you performed at your best?

“Yes, ma’am.”

If you could have done something differently, what would it have been?

“Deflecting more passes from the receivers.”

Why did you choose ours out of all the available camps?

“A lot of people have tried it, and I wanted to try it out.”

What are you most proud of?

“Going out and doing my best, giving 100%.”

What is your biggest strength?

“Running.”

Are there any specific skills you would like to improve?

“Yes, ma’am, my throwing accuracy and catching.”

What was the most difficult part of the camp for you?

“Guarding the receivers in the 7 on 7.”

Why do you play football?

“I love the sport.”

What are your goals for football?

“To make it far.”

Did you learn any important lessons at the camp or from Gridiron?

“Yes, ma’am. Stay humble and don’t quit.”

If you could give one piece of advice to others participating in the camp, what would it be?

“Never give up on yourself.”
