Britton Coots is a sixth grader from Walker, Louisiana. Although homeschooled, he has not let that stop him from pursuing his dreams to play football. He currently plays for the program CHEF and will be playing for CHEF-BR middle school team in Fall 2026! This kid has skills that have only scratched the surface. Be on the lookout for Britton in the next few years as he refines those skills and continues to grow into a hopeful, humble, teachable, asset of an athlete.

1. What made you choose football?
I thought it would’ve been a good learning experience. Plus I’ve made good friends because of football.
2. What drives you?
Having the opportunity to play college football keeps me motivated.
3. What do you believe are your strengths?
I think my discipline and attention to my coaching have been my strengths.
4. Where have you improved most this year ? (Could be in your personal life or in sports)
I’m becoming more confident in myself and my abilities. I’ve been working hard to improve my mechanics for better footwork.
5. What has football taught you?
To believe in myself and push my boundaries.
6. Do you have any goals for after high school? If so, what and why?
I would love the opportunity to play college football, my dream school is Texas. Hopefully I get to play ball and it helps pay for my education.
7. What do you think makes a great person/athlete?
I think a good person is honest and has discipline. A good player needs to have self confidence and be willing to be coachable.
