The Marksville Tigers start the season off with a 47-14 victory over their Avoyelles Parish rivals in the Avoyelles Mustangs last week.
The victory was headlined by Devin Lavalais, who accounted for five touchdowns in the game with three coming through the air and two on the ground. The 1-0 Marksville Tigers will take on Church Point tonight while the 0-1 Avoyelles Mustangs will take on the Pineville Rebels tonight.
