The Green Wave takes on Army Black Knights: Part 5

Here is a recap of what we have learned this week about Tulane and Army:

  • These two teams share a history that dates back to 1953.
  • Tulane is looking to stay ahead with the most wins going into this 21st match-up. Army is looking to catch up.
  • The Wave has 10 wins; the Knights have 9 (the 1953 game resulted in a 0-0 tie).
  • The last time they met, the Green Wave left with the victory. Will Saturday be a repeat?
  • Tulane has the upper hand when it comes to passing yardage. Their average per game is 103.3 yards. Army’s average per game is 12 yards.
  • Army has the advantage as far as rushing yardage. Their average per game is 364.7 yards. Tulane’s average per game is 241.3 yards.
  • Both teams suffered tough losses last week. It is redemption time!

There is quite a history between these two. Both teams are eager and in need of a win. I have been asking you all “Who do you think will win”. Well, it is time to reveal my prediction. I am going for none other than the Green Wave of course! Our twitter poll is still rolling (LaGridFootball); you have nine hours left to cast your votes. I will reveal the results of the poll tomorrow. I will also be front and center at Yulman Stadium to experience this matchup! Who will it be, the Wave or the Knights?
