Prosper High School is a 6A classification by the University Interscholastic League. The school is located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex in a suburb called Prosper, Texas. The Eagles are a fast growing school with proud tradition. The team won it’s first state championship back in 2008. The past eight seasons they have made it past district play and into the playoffs. The Eagles are in one of the toughest districts in the state of the Texas having to play teams like Allen High School and Denton Guyer High School every year. The Eagles are coming off a season in which they made it all the way to the semi-finals, falling one game short of the state championship in AT&T Stadium. “When you’re at a place like Prosper, the goal is to win the state championship”- Coach Moore. The football team doesn’t measure their season success by where they finish. This upcoming season, the Eagles are looking to compete for a district championship and a deep run into the playoffs.
Coach Tyler Moore is entering his first season as the Head Coach for Prosper High School. He started out at Cedar Park High School, winning a state championship in 2012 as a receivers coach. Previously, he was the Offensive Coordinator for the Eagles before being promoted to Head Coach recently. The coaching staff is loaded with coaches that have been coordinators already in their career. “We have big time coaches that aren’t afraid to take a back seat”- Coach Moore. The Defensive Coordinator for the Eagles is Coach Chase Petersen. He was the safeties coach at Prosper before recently getting promoted. Coach Malcolm Hill will take charge of the offense this season. He recently made the move from Frisco Reedy to Prosper.

Ellis Davis is a 6’7 260 pound offensive lineman entering his Senior season for Prosper. An all-around beast on the offensive front for the team. The multi-sport athlete is coming off a third-team all-district honors this past season. He currently holds offers from Auburn, Florida State, Texas A&M, and others.
Tyler Mercer is a 6’4 1/2 285 pound offensive lineman entering his Senior season for the Eagles. He is coming off an All-State Offensive Lineman season. In his 15 starts, he allowed an eye popping zero sacks. He currently holds offers from San Diego State, Wyoming, Air Force, and others.
Connor Carty is a 6’4 1/2 290 pound offensive guard entering his Junior season for the Eagles. Another great all around offensive lineman in this loaded group the Eagles hold. He has the potential to be one of the big name offensive lineman in the Class of 2025.
Zaden Krempin is a 6’4 1/2 240 pound offensive lineman entering his sophomore season for the Eagles. The Class of 2026 prospect broke out onto the scene this past season. He currently holds offers from Baylor, SMU, and others.
Nate TenBarge is a 6’1 ½ 185 pound athlete that will be an important piece for the Eagles this upcoming season. He is making the transition from the wide receiver position to quarterback. “He will end up playing in college someday”- Coach Moore. A playmaker that is looking to breakout in a big way in his Senior season.
Laird Hanson-Felter is a 6’5 245 pound defensive lineman entering his Senior season at Prosper. A very powerful player that gets into the backfield disrupting play after play for the defense. He is a student-athlete of the game holding a 4.76 GPA. He currently holds offers from Navy, Air Force, and others.
Jonah McClendon is a 5’11 197 pound outside linebacker for the loaded group on the defensive side. A hard hitter that flies all over the football field making tackles. A very good tackler in open space, not allowing big plays to happen against the Eagles. He will be a 3 year starter at Prosper.
Terrence Jones is a 6’1 185 pound defensive back entering his Senior season at Prosper. He has the ability to play both cornerback and safety at a high level. He is coming off a 2nd team all-district cornerback honors this past season.
