School Spotlight: Destrehan High School (Destrehan, Louisiana)

Destrehan High School is a public high school that competes in the 5A division in Louisiana. There are led by head coach Marcus Scott. He has an overall record of 105 wins and 39 losses. Before landing the head coaching job at Destrehan, Marcus was the head coach at John Ehert and West Jefferson High school. In his head coaching career he has found success in each program he has led. He would a pair of district championships in both John Ehert and West Jefferson before leading the wildcats to 4 distrcat championships. He has been awarded district coach of the year 8 times. Destrehan has won 5 state championships in their school history and one of those wins came under Coach Scotts direction. Coach Scott also has been nominated for the Don Shula National Coach of the Year and was confirmed the winner of the Saints Coach of the Year award.
