Rising Star, QB/DB Jase Harris, Ferriday Junior High (Ferriday, Louisiana)

Football player in uniform catching a pass.

Jase Harris is a 5’9, 155 lb quarterback out of Ferriday Junior High. His style of play is best described as a scrambler, comparable to Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson. He has an innate ability to keep his legs under him, as well as an eye for finding receivers once he leaves the pocket. Jase’s speed had him carrying the ball across the goal line 3 times this year, along with 108 yards on the ground on only 15 carries. Jase’s ability does not stop at speed, as he threw 15 touchdowns for 980 yards on a 45/90 completion rate, with only 5 interceptions this season. As a class of 2028 athlete, Jase still has lots of time to grow his game. With the raw talent he already has, Jase has the blueprints to be an elite quarterback for a long time.
