McDonogh 35 2026 3 Star WR Jakai Anderson Commits To LSU

The 2026 class is picking up as the LSU Tigers have their second commitment in just as many days, and both come from the recruiting hotbed of New Orleans, Louisiana as McDonogh 35 High School 2026 three star wide receiver Jakai Anderson has committed to the Bayou Bengals.

Anderson joins Edna Karr High School 2026 defensive tackle Richard Anderson as the two commitments for the Tigers. The 6’0, 170 pound speedster for the Roneagles was offered by the Tigers last year as a sophomore after a great performance at the Tigers’ Elite Camp, and fast forward a year later, Anderson makes his verbal commitment to Brian Kelly and wide receiver coach Cortez Hankton after a couple of visits this month including an unofficial visit yesterday.

The 1st Team All-State receiver chose the Tigers over the likes of Mississippi State, Penn State, Arkansas, Louisville, Baylor, and others.

It has been a great recruiting weekend for the Tigers as this is the third LSU commitment in the last 24 hours.
