Lufkin (TX) 2025 4 Star DT Zion Williams Commits To LSU

On the 4th of July, the LSU Tigers got some big fireworks, especially at a big position of need when Lufkin High School (Lufkin, TX) 2025 four star defensive tackle Zion Williams announced on social media that he was going to commit to the LSU Tigers.

The massive 6’4, 330 pound defensive tackle chose the Tigers over in-state schools like Texas, Texas A&M, and TCU. A big reason for Williams’ commitment was the quick relationship that he built with LSU defensive line coach Bo Davis. Defensive coordinator Blake Baker also made a major push in landing the coveted Texas product.

The stock has been rising on the recruiting trail the last couple of weeks on the defensive line for the Tigers as this is the second defensive lineman to commit to the Tigers’ 2025 joining defensive end LaJesse Harrold.

This also could be the start of another impressive recruiting weekend as there are a couple of LSU targets that will be announcing their college commitment in the next couple of days. Make sure to follow all of the recruiting action at www.gridironfootballusa.com!
