Grambling, LA: On September 24th, over 14,000 people gathered at Robinson Stadium in Grambling Louisiana to watch the Grambling Tigers take on Alcorn State, in a game that usually produces good and entertaining games.
This was a great game for Grambling as they ran over Alcorn State to a 43-18 victory. Devante Kincade had a great performance at home when he threw for 30 completions and 400 yards. He also threw 5 touchdowns and ran for one himself as he added to the excellent performance for his team.
Kincade had many receivers tonight, including Chad Williams who had 188 yards receiving and a touchdown. Martez Carter caught two touchdowns from Kincade, and other receivers to bring in touchdowns for Grambling were Hunter and Jones. Grambling gave a great performance in the second half, putting up 28 points that half compared to the 10 that came from Alcorn State.
The Tigers put up 534 yards of total yards that night, giving am exceptional performance to the fans who came out to watch their team. Grambling travels to Dallas next week for another conference match up against Prairie View A&M in a game that should be interesting.
