What are some things you have overcome in life?

I am a straight A student in all AP classes and really focused on my academics, but it doesn’t come easily. I have ADHD and really have to work hard to overcome my attention deficit and hyperactivity. I fight everyday to stay dialed in, but working through that adversity has made me a better student with better study habits, and probably made me a better person in the process.

What are your biggest accomplishments?

My biggest accomplishments are being elected All-Student Body President by my peers, being selected to the All-State team in football, being offered Division 1 football opportunities, and always having all As despite my challenges.

What player do you compare yourself to and why?

I’ve got a lot of work to put in to be in the same conversation as these guys but, defensively I would compare myself to Troy Polamalu. We have the same hairstyle going for us and I like the way he played like his hair was on fire. I try to play with that same type of energy and aggression. Offensively, I’d say AJ Brown. He is a very strong and physical receiver and can high point the ball well. I bring a linebacker mentality to receiver so I think comparison makes sense.

What are your plans once you’re done with football and why?

After football, I would like to become an orthopedic surgeon. I want to help people and like math and science. I also find it very interesting.

What are your goals/new things you want to accomplish for this upcoming season?

I want to go into next season stronger, faster, and more explosive than ever. One of my goals would be to try to make All-State on both sides of the ball.

What do you like about the sport of football and how is it significant to you?

I like the discipline of football and I like putting in work with my teammates. I think football makes me a better person off the field through self-discipline and working hard as a team. It also helps I like hitting people in the mouth.

What is an interesting fact about you outside of football?

My relationship with the Lord is the most important relationship in my life. I trust Him with football and everything else.

What colleges have you received any interest from if any and what is your dream college to play for?

I’m not sure yet on my dream school. I just hope to have the opportunity to play for a school that wants me as much as I want to play for them. I have offers from Arkansas State and Air Force and am talking to lots of other schools.
