DITR: SS/OLB Arsenio Bolds Jr, Edna Karr Highschool (New Orleans, Louisana)

Arsenio Bolds Jr is an absolute force on the field! His combination of speed, explosiveness, and aggression must make him a nightmare for opposing offenses to deal with. With his ability to quickly penetrate the line of scrimmage and disrupt plays, it’s no wonder quarterbacks are feeling the pressure when he’s on the field. His tremendous speed not only makes him difficult to block but also allows him to cover ground rapidly, putting constant pressure on the pocket and disrupting passing plays. It’s clear that Arsenio is already playing at an elite level, and with his talent and dedication, he’s poised to become even more dominant as he continues to develop in the coming years.

What are some things you have overcome in life?

“Some challenges I overcame in my life was my injury. my injury caused me to go even harder because i was in my head like it was a restart for me especially because i was sitting out of the spring.”

What are your biggest accomplishments?

“My biggest accomplishments had to be earning the scholarship, and earning the number 7. Those accomplishments really just showed my dedication and hard work each and everyday.

What player do you compare yourself to and why?

“A player i compare myself to is Tyrann Mathieu. I say this because of his passion and love for football and his grit. It’s like you can’t tell him no on the field.”

What are your plans once you’re done with football and why?

“My plan once i’m done with football is to be able to reach the youth and give them the knowledge I wish i had now at their age.”

What are some goals you have for yourself, and your team next season?

“My personal goals are really the team goals. I accomplished pretty much all my goals instead of winning the state championship. I want to be the one to get this team over the hump and stop the bleeding.”

What do you like about the sport of football and how is it significant to you?

“The thing I love most about the sport is, its like a home away from home. It’s like my getaway I can release whatever is on my mind on the field. it’s significant to me because it’s my way out of a city that’s surrounded with so much negativity and hate.

What is an interesting fact about you outside of football?

“I hold a 4.6 GPA , i’m very open and available to everybody , i’m a great leader in the classroom along with the field”

what is your dream school?

“Ohio State University/ University of Central Florida”

what position do you enjoy playing the most and why?

“I enjoy playing outside linebacker because I enjoy being the quarterback of the defense. It allows me to take advantage of the defense like an on field coach.”

What are some ways your coaches have helped you?

“My coaches helped me become a better man on and off the field. They teach me to not only hold myself accountable but to hold others around me to the same standard.
