A week after 2024 Gridiron Football All-Americans Chad Elzy and Re’John Zeno scored touchdowns in their first college game, fellow All-American Re’John Zeno was also able to impress in his college debut.
Playing for the Millikin University Big Blue, which is a Division III university located in Decatur, Illinois, Zeno dazzled by leading the team to their first win since 2022 with a four-touchdown performance in a 33-3 win over Luther College. Talk about an instant impact. The former Jennings Bulldogs star running back ran for 88 yards and added another 37 yards receiving to earn the program’s Athlete of the Week award.

Zeno had a prolific prep career for the Jennings Bulldogs carrying the running back tradition that was started by the Etienne brothers that are both playing in the NFL. In his junior year, Zeno was a two time District MVP and an All-State selection. Making 1st Team All-State as a junior with 1,900 yards rushing and 21 touchdowns, he followed it up with 1,441 yards and 21 more touchdowns his senior year.
Flying under the radar as one of the most underrated running backs in Louisiana, Zeno is instantly showing what he can do for the Big Blue.
