Eau Gallie (Melbourne, FL) 2025 4 Star DT Brandon Brown Commits To LSU

A day after the Tigers were able to get their first defensive tackle commit in Zion Williams, LSU was able to continue the momentum with another massive pickup in Eau Gallie High School (Melbourne, FL) four star defensive tackle Brandon Brown.

Once committed to the University of Texas, Brown has now decided to commit to the Tigers as the Longhorns’ former defensive line coach Bo Davis is now the defensive line coach for LSU.

The 6’2, 290 pound defensive tackle chose the Tigers over the likes of Texas, Tennessee, and Oklahoma. The Melbourne, Florida native is a Top 300 player and ranked as the number 31 defensive tackle in the country according to 247.

The recent LSU commit is coming off a great junior season in which he had 65 tackles, 24 tackles for loss, and four sacks. Overall, this is the 14th commitment for the Tigers in the 2025 class. LSU could also receive some potentially more good news later today as another defensive lineman target will be announcing his college commitment in Indiana edge rusher Damien Shanklin.
