DREW BREES OUT WITH THUMB INJURY AGAINST THE RAMS, AARRGGG!

The Saints may have had revenge on their minds when they played the Los Angeles this weekend but all they can think about now is how long QB Drew Brees will be out after the quarterback suffered a hand injury.  It wasn’t apparent just how serious the injury was until Brees was seen trying to grip a ball on the sideline and quickly releasing it in apparent pain.

Brees went to see hand specialists in Los Angeles for that injury and according to reports, will be out for six or so weeks with surgery to his throwing thumb.

Brees  stood quietly on the Saints sideline, tape wrapped around his wrist and lower thumb, watching backup Teddy Bridgewater struggle through a 27 to 9 loss.

According to Head Coach Sean Payton, they will be seeking a second opinion today and will give an update when they know more.

With a couple of more bad calls by the officials, one of which should have resulted in a Saints touchdown, it looks the Rams continue to be a curse for the Saints.

Time for Bridgewater to step up.

GEAUX SAINTS!
