How did you get started in football, and what inspired you to play the sport?

My dad is a football coach so there was no question that I wouldn’t play. I am inspired to be better than my dad and his brother in football.

What positions do you enjoy playing the most, and why?

I enjoy playing OT more than guard cause you can control things more.

How do you balance schoolwork and football during the season?

My mom is a teacher so she really helped me with my school work after coming home from a long hard practice.

What aspects of your game do you feel you have improved upon the most since you started playing?

Run blocking!

What are your individual goals for the upcoming football season?

To better myself and also go for first team all state.

Are there any professional football players you look up to, and if so, why?

Trent Williams is who I look up to. His motor is what catches my eye. He had cancer and still playing like a dog and he is the best OT to ever play.

How do you stay motivated during practices and training sessions, especially when facing tough drills or exercises?

I just look at my teammates and think to myself if I give up, half of the team would give up too, so I learned even in the hard parts I have to thrive for greatness.

Aside from football, what is an interesting fact about you?

I like to do yoga.

Which college would you most like to play for?

I really don’t have a dream college that I would play at.

What did it mean to be a part of the Gridiron football camp?

The coaches didn’t know me but the atmosphere at the camp was amazing and it felt like I was at my high school training.

What are your biggest strengths on the field?

My get off the ball speed is good.

What is the biggest challenge you face on the field?

The biggest challenge is when we are down on the scoreboard and everyone is discouraged but I have to get them back on track.

How has playing football impacted other areas of your life, such as academics and personal?

Football really relaxes me. If I ever get mad about something and I go to practice after I’ll be relaxed. Football, also pushes me to have better grades if I  want to stay on the team.
