What are some things you have overcome in life?

” In my life, I’ve faced several challenges that required me to overcome significant hurdles. One such challenge was supporting my dad, who underwent open-heart surgery and experienced cardiac arrest three times. It was a difficult and emotionally taxing experience, but it taught me resilience and the importance of family support. Additionally, I struggled with feelings of stagnation and inadequacy, doubting my ability to improve myself. However, I persevered and worked diligently to overcome these doubts, pushing myself to grow and develop. Lastly, I had to navigate the grief and loss associated with the passing of my grandpa, which was a heartbreaking experience. Despite these challenges, I remain committed to personal growth and self-improvement, striving to honor the lessons learned from these experiences.”

What are your biggest accomplishments?

” Two of my most significant accomplishments are being named First Team All-State and earning the opportunity to play football at the collegiate level.”

What player do you compare yourself to and why?

” I often compare myself to Myles Garrett due to our shared versatility on the field. Like Garrett, I pride myself on being both a speed rusher and a power rusher, able to adapt my technique to the situation at hand. This versatility allows me to keep opposing offenses guessing and opens up opportunities for big plays on defense. Just as Garrett has made a name for himself as one of the most dynamic pass rushers in the NFL, I aspire to emulate his success and impact on the field.”

What are your plans once you’re done with football and why?

” Once my football journey comes to an end, my main goal is to achieve enough success to fully enjoy life and create lasting memories with my family. Whether it’s traveling to new places, experiencing different cultures, or simply spending quality time together, I want to ensure that my loved ones are taken care of and that we can enjoy the fruits of our labor together.”

What are some goals you have for yourself, and your team next season?

“ My personal goals for this season include leading the team in tackles or sacks, aiming to make a significant impact on the defensive side of the ball. Additionally, I aspire to contribute to the team’s success by helping us reach the state championship, building on the momentum from our past two historic seasons. Ultimately, my overarching goal is for our team to strive for excellence and become the best version of ourselves on and off the field.”

What do you like about the sport of football and how is it significant to you?

“Football provides me with an escape from the stresses of life, allowing me to immerse myself fully in the game I love. It’s a place where I can set aside any worries or distractions and simply focus on enjoying the moment and giving my all on the field.”

What position do you enjoy playing the most and why?

” I enjoy the versatility of playing defensive end the most. Whether I’m standing up or playing with my hand down, I love the freedom it gives me to just go after the ball. The position allows me to be a flexible player, adapting to different situations and using my skills to make an impact on the game.”

What are some ways your coaches have helped you?

” My coaches have been instrumental in my development on the field. They’ve helped me gain a deeper understanding of the game, allowing me to slow things down mentally so I can play at full speed. In particular, my defensive line coach has worked tirelessly with me to refine my techniques, ensuring that they translate effectively to the field.”

What colleges have you received any offers or interest from if any and what is your dream college to play for?

” I’ve received offers from a variety of schools including LaTech, Oregon State, Missouri, Houston, Tulane, ULL, ULM, Cal, and others.”

What makes you stand out from other players?

” What sets me apart from other players is my dedication to constantly improving my skills and my attention to detail in everything I do.”
