Makin Lenard is a speed-threat running back for Ouachita Christian in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana. Lenard is one of the most exciting running backs in the state of Louisiana, for when he touches the ball expect him to have an explosive run, powering through the defenders. Lenard standing at 5’11, 185-pounds is an athlete who excels not only in football but track & field as well. Lenard is a 3x LHSAA track and field state champion, as well as a bronze finalist at the AAU Nationals located in Jacksonville Florida back in July. Last season on the football field Lenard ran for over 400 yards with 9 touchdowns to follow. This was just with starting half of the season last year before becoming the number one running back this year.

Lenard is a 2 year starter for the Ouachita Christian Eagles, taking the starting running back position mid way through his junior year. Lenard his freshman year was held back due to surgeries, but bounced back his sophomore year playing on the defensive side. Lenard showcased great speed and power on the field, which led to him becoming the running back for the Eagles his Junior year. Since taking on the starting role Lenard has put up amazing numbers and caught the eyes of many different schools at each division level. During his first 4 games of his Senior season, Lenard has already reached the 400 yard mark, as well has scored 6 touchdowns so far this season. Lenard is on track to have a break-out season this year, setting himself up to have a 1,000 yard season. Lenard is now averaging 100 yards per game, for his last match-up against Madison, Lenard rushed for 200 yards with 2 touchdowns, averaging 11.1 yards per carry. Lenard will continue to lead the Ouachita Christian Eagles throughout the season and look to go undefeated this year. Already off to a great start the Eagles are 4-0 and will face Rayville this Friday, looking to improve their record to 5-0. Expect Lenard to have another break-out game and help lead the Eagles to victory this Friday.
