DITR: Kamario Taylor

Kamario Taylor is a class of 2025 Quarterback with incredible athletic ability. He plays for Noxubee County Tigers in Macon, Mississippi. Kamario has a 3.4 GPA. He is 6’4″ tall and weighs 180 lbs. Kamario has good pocket awareness with the ability to stand tall and make the play. His offensive coach, Coach Ballard, told us, “This kid is a big time prospect. He has a big time arm, good feet, and is a natural leader. He only played in 1 game in 2021, but he went 5 for 6 and had 2 TDs.” I saw Kamario play this spring at the King Of The Boot 7v7 tournament in Lafayette, La. As a young QB, I saw a shinny gem in a prospect. He has a great release, field vison, and ability to play the position. Karmario said to me, “Everything I do, is for my family.” After speaking to Kamario and watching him play this spring, I believe this young man is the real deal.

Watch Kamario’s Highlights Here

When did you start playing? I started playing when I was 8 yrs old for the Macon Broncos.

What have you learned about yourself while playing? I have learned that I am very competitive, I don’t like to loose, and that I like to work out.

What would your teachers say about you? I willing to learn new things, I am very smart, and I am willing to teach the class if needed. Some of my teachers would say I am a good leader.

What do you love about playing football? I love the competition of the game. I really love everything about the game of football. It is hard to pick just one thing.

Who do you look up to? My uncle, Omar Connor, I saw film of him playing at Mississippi State. So he motivates me to bring out the best in myself.

What motivates you? I want to be the best Kamario I can be.

Are there any aspects of the game that you are working on this summer to get better for the fall? Pocket mobility, ball placement, get my legs stronger, timing with my receivers, and trying to get faster. I do two workouts everyday because I want to be the best.

What is your personal goal for this upcoming season? I do care about my stats, but really I want to help my team win a championship. I do want to throw for over 4,000 yards, but ultimately I just want to help my team win a championship.

What makes you special? Why should a college recruit you? I have good accuracy and ball placement.

What are your hobbies? I like to volunteer and help my community by doing clean-ups, picking up trash. I cannot stand to see my community dirty so I do this. A lot of people have offered to pay me for this, but I just want to do it for my home town. I also like to play basketball and play video games.

Do you play any other sports? Yes sir, I play basketball, baseball, and run track. On the track team, I run the 800, long jump, tipple jump, and high jump. In baseball I play pitcher, outfield, and third base. In basketball I play everything.
