What are some things you have overcome in life?

” One of the challenges I’ve faced in my life is finding balance, especially as I’ve become more dedicated to sports. Managing my time effectively became increasingly difficult, but I’ve made significant steps in improving this aspect over the past year.”

What are your biggest accomplishments?

” Some of my greatest accomplishments in life are the ones I’m currently pursuing. Since I was 10 years old, my goal has been to reach Division I in football, and now I’m actively working towards achieving that dream. Looking ahead, my next goal is to make it to the NFL.”

What player do you compare yourself to and why?

” I like to think that my playing style is a blend of Micah Parsons and Von Miller. Von Miller, in particular, has been a huge inspiration for me. I would watch him closely every week when he was playing with the Broncos, studying his moves and trying to mimic his techniques on the field.”

What are your plans once you’re done with football and why?

” After my football career, I aim to transition into the medical field, although I’m still exploring specific areas of interest. While I haven’t decided on a particular field yet.”

What are some goals you have for yourself, and your team next season?

“Next year, I have two goals in mind. Firstly, I aim for my team to secure the 7A championship title. Secondly, I have set a personal goal of achieving 21.5 sacks in a single season, pushing myself to contribute significantly to our team’s success.”

What do you like about the sport of football and how is it significant to you?

“Football has been my passion and focus since I was just 7 years old. Even as a young child, I eagerly waited for the arrival of summer so I could dive into football camp and immerse myself in the game.”

What is an interesting fact about you outside of football?

“An intriguing fact about me that not many people know is that my favorite artist is a K-pop group called NewJeans. Whenever they have a concert in Illinois, I make sure to snag front row tickets to see them perform live.”

What is your dream school?

“I don’t have a specific dream school because I believe every college offers its own unique strengths and opportunities. Instead, I evaluate colleges based on factors like the atmosphere and the quality of the coaching staff. These aspects play a crucial role in determining the right fit for me as a student-athlete.”

What position do you enjoy playing the most and why?

” I love playing the EDGE position. From my earliest days in football at 7 years old to my Junior Year, I’ve always thrived as a defensive end/EDGE player.”

What are some ways your coaches have helped you?

“Coaches McGuire, Reigner, and Groth have consistently placed me in positions where I can thrive and succeed.Their guidance has allowed me to play freely, unleashing my strengths to attack and disrupt the quarterback, ultimately making them uncomfortable.”

What colleges have you received any offers or interest from if any and what is your dream college to play for?

” I’ve received offers from Kent State, Illinois State, Northern Iowa, and Eastern Michigan.”
