Some obstacle i’ve had to overcome has been constantly being overlooked and doubted in every aspect of my life, so i feel as though this gave me the ability to try to prove doubters wrong. It’s given me the work ethic to train twice as hard as anyone else because I never want to be outworked.

My plan after football ends is to become a Hi-Performance technician. As a kid I could always remember watching my Dad working on one of his cars outside which really inspired me to be in the automotive field.

Some goals I want to accomplish for this upcoming season are to have a 10+ sack season and to win defensive district MVP.

What do you like about the sport of football and how is it significant to you?

One thing I love about football is that its truly a team sport and it requires all 11 people on the field to have your back for the team to have success. Football is significant to me because it has always been in my life for as long as I can remember—ever since I was a kid growing up watching it on tv or playing in pads for the first time in seventh grade I knew it was something I wanted to pursue in the long run.

What colleges have you received any interest from if any and what is your dream college to play for?

So far I have no offers but my recruiting is going good. I’ve had a couple conversations with coaches at Kansas, Tulsa, Texas state and Arkansas state. And I most recently received a Junior day invite from Houston Christian University, Texas A&M Commerce, West Texas A&M,
and University of Texas Permian Basin but my dream college to play for is the University of Missouri.
