
D’antwone Hopkins is a class of 2023 safety and wide receiver for Union Parrish High School. He benches 195, squats 380, power cleans 185, and runs 4.5 40. He maintains a 3.0 GPA. He is a speedy and aggressive safety and uses his strength to his advantage. He has experience as both a safety and wide receiver giving him an understanding of both sides of the ball.

D: I’m from Spearsdille, LA from I like to go outside and be active.
What made you play football?
D: My dad, he inspired me to play he played the same positions as me.
What is going through your mind before a game?
D: I just listen to music and think about what I have to do to win and communicate with my team.
What is something you’ve learned in football that you’ve been able to apply in everyday life?
D: Making friends, helping others and new people.
What is an academic and athletic goal you have set for this year?
D: Athletic games: I have to get a championship before I leave.
What is the best advice you have received from a coach regarding football?
D: Life is a 4 quarter game don’t give up and keep going.
What is something that keeps you motivated to be a great athlete?
D: My grandma. She passed away. She motivates me to make her proud and my family.
What are you most excited for when you think about your future in football?
D: College and trying to make to the NFL.
