When did you begin playing football? What made you want to play?
I started playing at the age of seven. In the beginning, I ran track. Every coach was telling me that I should play football, they were telling my parents that he should play football, but they were kind of iffy about it cause it’s a hard-contact sport. So, I played but I was kind of scared, but then they gave me a chance to run the football and scored a 60-yard touchdown and ever since then I loved the game.
What hobbies do you have outside of sports?
I used to play basketball, and I play the drums at church.
How does football identify with your life?
It brings challenges, but you have to know how to handle those challenges and that’s what matters in life. It will try to bring you down at times, but you have to be able to bounce back and maneuver to become a better person.

I would bring my talents, along with my intelligence, and my ability to handle different challenges. I constantly try to uplift my teammates along with bringing a positive energy towards the team.

As a player, what are areas you could improve on?
Learning how to outrun the opposition and not slowing down after; to be able to make a play and use my speed to get around the defense.
Is there anyone you try to model your playing style after?
I model my playing style after Josh Jacobs because even though he’s not the biggest guy on the field, he knows how to get the job done. He’s a physical and fast player.
How has the lockdown affected your training?
Due to my injury from my sophomore season, my recruitment process was affected. Training-wise, thankfully I have a set of weights at home. So, I’ve been able to improve my strength by doing home workouts.

Overall, I’m a versatile player. I can smoothly switch back and forth with multiple positions including running back, cornerback, and wide receiver.
What motivates you to keep playing football? How do you motivate yourself on gameday?
Just visualizing where I want to be in life – knowing the goals that I set for myself. I want to play at the NFL level and accept an offer to a division one level program. I know what I have to do to achieve those goals. I have to give one hundred ten percent on the field, off the field, and in the classroom.
Last year, what would have been your signature moment?
The signature moment, for me, would have to be the game where we played Dunham last season. Our team was down and we attempted a big comeback, but we didn’t win in the end. Personally, besides scoring a touchdown, the effort I felt from my team that night was electric.
