At what age did you begin playing football and what motivated you to play this sport?

I started playing football when I was younger. I really focused more on basketball as a kid. I started playing football more when basketball wasn’t as fun to me anymore. Going to football practice when I was around seven or eight was when I took the sport serious.

What are some hobbies you have outside of sports?

I really enjoy playing video games like Madden.

What has football taught you about yourself or life?

Football has taught me a lot about myself. It taught me how to be on time. If you’re not on time, there will be consequences. I’ve also learned a lot outside of football.

What are some goals you have for this season?

I would like to get my sack stats up this season. Last season, I had around 12. This season, I am looking to get at least 20. I also want more picks as last year I didn’t have any.

What’s been the highlight of your football career?

Against Edna Karr, I made a game winning sack. I feel like that is one of my best highlights.

What’s your favorite thing about your position?

I like everything about my position! I like making plays and reacting to the ball wherever it’s at. I also enjoy covering other guys.

How do you think coaches and teammates would describe you as a player?

They would describe me as a fast player. I really use my speed to make plays.

What would you say are some of your strengths on the football field?

I would say I read the ball quicker than anyone on the field. My speed also helps me produce highlights.

What’s your favorite thing about playing football in Louisiana?

I love the competition. We have the best talent out here!

How do you prepare for an upcoming game?

Before every game, I get a smoothie from Smoothie King. I listen to music, any music that will hype me up for the game!

I see you’ve committed to Hawaii! How are you preparing for the switch from Louisiana to Hawaii?

I’m just preparing to not see my family as consistently anymore. Hopefully, I get to play early. I am just preparing to go out there and give my all.

Three words to describe yourself?

Quiet, listener, self-motivated.

What is one thing you could not go a day without?

Food! My favorite food to eat is pasta, that is my go to meal.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

I see myself still playing football, but if not I would like to be working for a business!

So is that what would you like to study in college?

Yes, I would like to go into Business.

What would you tell younger players who want to play high school football one day?

I would tell them to keep working. No matter how hard it gets, keep working. It will come to you. Don’t worry about getting offers, just wait your turn and be yourself.
