For the second year in a row, a Notre Dame High School tight end has committed to play in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game following current Louisiana Christian tight end Hayden Johnson in 2023.

At 6’2, 200 pounds, Hebert is a do-it all tight end that is an excellent blocker in the run game, but at the same time, has soft hands and can be a weapon as a pass catcher. This past season, he made 2nd Team All-District with 17 grabs for 274 yards and two touchdowns.

His versatility and athleticism also translates to the diamond where he is an outstanding first baseman for the Pios’ baseball team. With a 3.3 GPA and a 28 ACT, Hebert is also an Eagle scout.

Like his predecessor, Hebert has an offer from Louisiana Christian to play at the next level, but is playing in his final high school game at the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game in order to get another chance for colleges to look at him.

“I am blessed to have a chance to play in this game, and I think it’s a great opportunity to play against the best competition in the state not only to make myself better, but also to learn more about the game that I love to play. It helps kids like me who don’t get a lot of chances to be seen to be seen, and have a chance to get better.”
