As part of the Tigers’ rise as a respectable program at the 1A level, Dunn has played a part in that as a productive player in the program. Standing at 6’0, 180 pounds, the Tigers’ two way player is a two time All-District selection as a wide receiver, but he has also made All-District as a running back and as a defensive back. Last season, Dunn was a touchdown scoring machine with 16 touchdowns his junior season. He also shares a backfield at running back with Ashontis Brooks, which is an outstanding 1-2 punch that is what I like to call “Brooks and Dunn” after the successful country band duo.

Whether it is on offense or on defense, Dunn can get it done as he is also a talented defensive back as well. His versatility, 4.5/40 speed, and athleticism has attracted a lot of college coaches. With a 2.9 GPA, he has received offers from Graceland, Millsaps, and Grambling.

At the end of the season, Theo Dunn will have one more chance to represent the East Iberville Tigers and draw the attention of more college coaches at this year’s Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, which will be played at Memorial Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Monday, December 30th.

“I’m very grateful for the opportunity to play one more time as my high school career ends. I want to be able to stand out against some of the best talent in the country. Hopefully, it will give collegiate programs another chance to take a look at me.”
