Bishop Gorman 5 Star WR Derek Meadows Commits To LSU

Just a couple of days after the LSU Tigers got a commitment from a five star in DJ Pickett, the Tigers got themselves another top caliber prospect for the 2025 class in Bishop Gorman five star receiver Derek Meadows.

The Las Vegas, Nevada product chose the Tigers over Alabama, Michigan, Georgia, and Notre Dame. According to 247, Meadows is the number one player in the state of Nevada, the number six wide receiver in the country, and the number 32 overall player in the country.

At 6’6, 200 pounds with an 80″ wingspan, Meadows is a matchup nightmare that not only has tremendous size, but track speed.

“For me, LSU really felt most like home. They have a bunch of leaders there, and I just know that they’ll push me every day to get where I want to be.”

Leading the recruiting charge for Meadows is LSU wide receiver coach Cortez Hankton, who now pairs Meadows with Edna Karr wide receiver TaRon Francis as the two wideout commits in the 2025 class.

LSU continues to kill it in the high school recruiting rankings as the 2025 class is currently the number three recruiting class in the country. The Tigers have 18 current commitments and could possibly add another one by the end of the day as Westgate four star cornerback Jaboree Antoine is making his college decision later in the evening.
