Cohen Hendrix is a 6′ ft, 150 lbs QB out of Sterlington Middle School, class of 2030. What immediately stands out his is his poise and confidence, especially for his age. Hendrix proved himself among top competition by earning Top Camp Performer honors, showing he can stand out when it matters most. He is always looking to improve and elevate those around him. Off the field, he maintains an impressive 3.9 GPA, proving he takes care of business in the classroom just as much as on the field. What made you start playing football?
I grew up in a family that played football so I grew into it and I love the sport.
What did you like about the camp?
Everybody was competitive and they cared about you, and wanted you to get better at your own position.
What is a drill that you can improve on (from camp)?
Footwork, I think the perfect quarterback needs perfect footwork.
Would you rather play offense or defense?
I would rather play offense but I also love defense.
What made you choose this camp?
I played in the all star game and I saw camp coming up so i figured it would be good knowing I can get to compete with good competition.
Who is your favorite football player?
Tom Brady
What motivates you to keep working hard?
My family and the love for the game.
How did it feel competing with other players at the camp?
It felt good because I realized how good I can be competing with the best in Louisiana.
How does camps like this get help you get better for the season?
It helps you learn and works better on your feet and it shows you in your mind what you can do.
What is the biggest thing you learned from the camp?
To keep going and never give up, even if someone says you can’t make it or do something.
What does being a good teammate mean to you?
It means everything because if they don’t respect you. Then you’re not gonna play well together and got to have good relationship with them.
