A 5’9 165lbs cornerback with a 3.0 GPA ending the season with 60 tackles 3 interceptions, and 5 pass breakups.Keylann is dedicated to build his team and encourage the underclassman to step up while also being strong on the defense side of ball and also receiving first team all district. What has football taught you that you think will help you most in college life?
To never quit on and losing situation, keep working hard, and if u gotta “Y” that should be your motivation.
How does it feel knowing this is your last season wearing your high school jersey?
It makes me excited and a bit nervous that i’m stepping into the real world without the guys I grew up with and just to be in a new community that’s not home could be a bit strange.
What moment from your senior year are you going to remember forever?
The traditions and just being happy after a win with the guys I can call “brothers.”
Are you planning to play football in college, or focus more on academics?
I would love to continue football due to my “Y” but if it gets too serious mentally then i’ll move on to academics.
Who pushed you the most to become the player (and person) you are today?
My family and myself, All my life I wanted to be on the big screens and to let everyone see my talent, Everyone tells me I have potential, I would love to prove them right. I also wanna be the second person in my family to be in the NFL.
If football didn’t exist, what sport do you think you’d be good at?
If football didn’t exist, I would probably be good in soccer, that’s my second sport, they are kinda similar but I feel like soccer is more difficult.
